Spinception — roguelite deckbuilder

Your machine isn't rigged. You're the one rigging it. Spinception is a single-player roguelite deckbuilder where the deck is the board. Draft symbols instead of cards, hold the columns you like and respin the rest, stack multipliers into run-defining combos, and rebuild the machine between stages — then survive a boss that breaks the exact thing you were relying on. When a symbol opens a smaller board inside your board, zoom in and play it — every layer multiplies the score.

Android — Free version, 10+ hours of play. One $4.99 unlock opens the Full version. iOS — coming soon. The App Store version is on its way: everything included, paid once up front.

For roguelite & deckbuilder fans

Spin, build a deck, beat the boss

A run is a 20-stage gauntlet with a boss every fifth stage. Your deck is a bag of symbols, and the board is just where it lives. Every spin is a puzzle turn.

A booster pack

1 Draft your bag

Every spin draws from your bag of symbols. Draft from boosters, chase duplicates, or skip the pick and pocket the tickets — thinning the bag is a build too.

A pocket wrench trinket

2 Lock & spin again

Hold the columns you like, respin the rest, and squeeze every line out of the board. Stack multipliers into run-defining combos — nothing here is passive, each spin is a decision.

A magnifying glass trinket

3 Dive deeper

Sometimes a symbol lands and it's a whole smaller board. Zoom in and play it mid-spin — boards inside boards, and every layer of depth multiplies the score.

A Super Combo badge

4 Beat the target

Each stage asks for a score in a handful of spins — as few as two on some cabinets. Clear it, shop for trinkets and items, rebuild the machine, and push on; miss it and the run ends. Every fifth stage a boss breaks the exact thing you were relying on.

  • 4 decks
  • 6 cabinets
  • 100+ symbols
  • 175+ trinkets
  • 80+ items
  • 13 bosses
  • 250+ quests
  • 20 stunts
  • ∞ endless mode

Pick your poison

Four decks. Four different games.

Like a good roguelite character select, each deck replaces your instincts, not just your art. Lose the run, keep the progress: every run earns stars and deck XP, win or fall on stage 19. Spend stars on decks, cabinets, trinkets and crates, and level each deck from 1 to 10 to widen its pool and open up new synergies.

Classic

the honest baseline

No twist to learn — every symbol scores exactly what it says. The widest, most forgiving deck, and the measuring stick for every other build.

Overdrive

the board is the furnace

Heater symbols set the tiles they score on glowing, and a glowing tile cools one step every spin you don't feed it. The more of the board is hot, the more every spin scores — so hold the hot columns and land your big symbols on the glow.

Swarm

the colony is the payoff

Each bug is nearly worthless alone. Eggs hatch into larvae, nurses and queens raise the brood, and every swarm line scores more the bigger your colony grows.

Familiar

it scores like it feels

A little creature lives in this deck. Score its symbols to fill its FOOD, WATER and PLAY bars — its mood multiplies the whole deck, and it's only ever as happy as its hungriest bar. Keep it fed long enough and it evolves.

Fair-play pricing

One price. One purchase, once.

Everything in Spinception costs $4.99, once. On Android the Free version comes first — a real game, not a timer — and a single in-app purchase opens all of it, with every star and level you've earned carrying straight over. The iOS version is coming soon, and it will have no Free version: the App Store download is the Full version, paid once up front, with no in-app purchases at all. No subscription, no coins, no ads. The iOS version includes Firebase Analytics, which collects app usage and installation information; see our Privacy Policy.

FAQ

Is there real money involved?

No. Spinception is a single-player, offline puzzle game about building a deck. Nothing costs real money to spin, nothing pays out, and there is no way to win money or anything of real-world value — in the game or outside it. The board is a puzzle, not a gamble. The one optional purchase unlocks content and never changes what you score.

Does it need internet?

No. Runs are fully playable offline, with no account. Purchases use the app store. The upcoming iOS version will also send app usage and installation information through Firebase Analytics when online; see our Privacy Policy.

When is the iOS version coming?

Soon — it is on its way to the App Store, and the link will appear here the day it goes live. On iOS, Spinception will be $4.99 up front, and that download is the Full version — all four decks, all six cabinets, the whole difficulty ladder, every quest — with no in-app purchases of any kind. The Free version and its in-app unlock are Android only.

On Android, what happens to my Free version progress when I buy?

Nothing — and that's the point. Same app, same save file. The purchase lifts the gates in place: stars, deck XP, quest progress, and lifetime stats you earned in the Free version are all still there.

How long is a run?

A run is 20 stages with a boss every fifth and shops along the way — usually 10–30 minutes, longer if you keep diving into boards within boards. And you can put it down whenever: progress saves instantly, so you can quit the app mid-spin and pick the run back up right where you left it. Then there's endless mode.

What does it run on?

Android 7.0 and up; the iOS version (iOS 17 and up) is coming soon. Portrait, one-handed. Built in Godot, light on battery. Plays fair, runs anywhere: fully offline, single-player, forever. Available in English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian.
